BUTLER: 40s, the storyteller. Jaded, hip, sarcastic, omniscient.
LORD BYRON: 28, (George Gordon Byron, the Sixth Lord Byron) tall, elegant, arrogant, the epitome of the sultry, sexual romantic poet.
PERCY SHELLEY: 26, passionate, thin, troubled.
CLAIRE CLAIRMONT: 21, giddy, not bright but socially ambitious.
MARY WOLLSTONECRAFT GODWIN: 19, slight with light hair. Intelligent and ambitious. In love with Percy.
JOHN POLIDORI: 20, a newly graduated doctor, a need-to-please in every aspect.
CREATURE: middle-aged. Tall, broad-shouldered, thick. His face and bald head hold a patchwork of scars, sutures and bruises. Strong, determined and can be malevolent and violent.
HARRIET: mid-20’s, non-speaking, a specter.
